Frequently Asked Questions

What's the Difference Between Artisan and Alfresco?

The main differences come down to design and features.

Alfresco grills are made with a heavier-duty stainless steel and are double walled, so they are slightly more durable and better insulators.

Alfresco grills are also backed by a lifetime warranty, whereas Artisan is backed by a 15-year warranty.

With Artisan, you have to pay for some upgrades while you don't on an Alfresco.  For example, with an Alfresco grill you can choose an infrared sear burner upgrade at no extra cost.

Alfresco grills also have a couple of extra features not found on Artisan - the integrated wood/charcoal smoker tray to name one.

What's the Difference Between Artisan Professional and American Eagle?

Artisan grills are available in two different series - Professional and American Eagle.

American Eagle grills are the most entry level in terms of price and features.  They come with a warming rack on top of the main grate and that's about it.

It's a great no-nonsense grill and by far the most affordable built-in grill that's made in the USA.

Artisan Professional grills have more features, namely lit burner knobs, interior halogen lighting, and a rotisserie kit with a rear infrared burner included.

Price wise, Artisan Professional grills are more expensive than American Eagle but less expensive than Alfresco.
