The Primo Oval Large Charcoal Smoker Grill is a large-sized grill and one of the most popular sizes of ceramic kamado cookers on the market. This grill features easy to clean and reversible stainless steel cooking grates and one of the highest sitting lids - which is great for cooking whole chickens, turkeys, and virtually anything else!

This kamado style grill is made in the USA and constructed with premium grade Primo Super Ceramics and coated with a protective, lead-free, and scratch-resistant porcelain glaze.

    What's the difference between the Oval and Round Primos?

    The patented oval shape gives more cooking surface and an easier two-zone (direct + indirect) setup than a round kamado. The Oval comes in Junior 200 (210 sq. in.), Large 300 (300 sq. in.) and XL 400 (400 sq. in.); the Large Round is 280 sq. in.

    What can I cook on it?

    One grill grills, sears, smokes, roasts and bakes. With the ceramic body holding anywhere from ~100°F to 800°F, you can run low-and-slow brisket or a high-heat steak sear, and add the pizza oven or rotisserie kit for more.

    What fuel does it use?

    100% natural lump charcoal (not briquettes). Lump lights faster, burns cleaner and gives a true wood-fired flavor. The optional electric charcoal starter makes lighting quick and lighter-fluid-free.

    Does it come with a stand or table?

    The grill head is sold on its own, or as a cradle (with folding side shelves), a cart, or a cypress countertop table — pick the configuration on the product. Add the matching extension racks, heat deflectors, griddle and rotisserie below.
