What is the Dual Plate System?
It's Le Griddle's patented cooking surface — 304 stainless steel bonded to cast iron using technology from the aircraft industry. The combination heats evenly, resists discoloration, and cleans up like new every time.
Should I choose gas or electric?
Le Griddle makes both. GFE gas models run on propane or natural gas. GEE electric models simply plug in — a good fit for balconies, covered spaces, or anywhere running a gas line isn't practical.
What's the difference between built-in and freestanding?
A built-in griddle drops into a countertop or island cutout (see the cutout dimensions above). A freestanding model (the "CK" versions) comes on a matching rolling cart so you can place it anywhere. The griddle itself is the same either way.
How do I clean and care for it?
The griddle plate is removable and a grease collection tray makes cleanup easy. Season and maintain the surface per the care guide above to keep it performing for years.
What size should I get?
The Wee is 16″ (great for two people or a tabletop), the Ranch Hand is 30″, the Big Texan is 41″, and the Grand Texan is 60″ for big crowds. Check the cooking-surface and width specs above to match your space.
