What power does it need?

Bromic electric heaters are hard-wired (typically 208–240V; the portable Eclipse plugs into 240V). Higher-output models draw more amps — check the voltage/amperage in the specs and have a licensed electrician handle installation.

Can I dim or remote-control it?

Yes — Smart-Heat electric heaters work with Bromic's wireless on/off and multi-channel dimmer remotes (sold below), so you can tune heat and, on the Eclipse, the LED light from your seat.

How do I mount it?

Most Bromic heaters wall- or ceiling-mount; many support flush/recess kits to sit cleanly into a ceiling or eave (see the matched mount kits below). Portable models are freestanding. Observe the minimum clearances in the specs.

Will it work in wind?

Yes — Bromic's Smart-Heat™ radiant design heats people and objects directly rather than the air, and the gas Platinum series carries the highest wind rating of any gas patio heater on the market.
