Where are TEC products made?

All TEC Infrared Grills are proudly made in the USA.

How much assembly is required?

TEC Grills arrive almost completely assembled.  Some parts will be wrapped in plastic or packing material, which you'll need to remove.

You'll also need to attach your side shelves if you ordered a freestanding grill.  But other than that, the heavy lifting with regard to assembly will be completed before your grill arrives.

What's the difference between TEC Patio & Sterling Patio grills?

The difference mainly comes down to the hood.  On TEC Patio grills, the hood is single walled and has a flatter look. On Sterling Patio grills, the hood is double walled with more of a curved look.

How do I clean a TEC grill?

One of the best features of TEC grills is that they are some of the easiest grills to clean on the market - no exaggeration! After you finish off your cook, you can initiate your grill's burn off procedure by shutting the lid and turning your burner knobs to high.  It's a similar procedure to an oven self-clean.

Once 10 minutes pass, turn your knobs off, let the grill cool, and wipe the ash off of your grates and remove ash from your infrared glass (TEC has a grate scraper product that is perfect for this). That's it!
