The Kamado Joe Half Moon Deflector Plate Set is designed to bring versatility to your Kamado Joe cooking experience, allowing for indirect cooking and low-and-slow smoking. This set of two ceramic half-moon plates is compatible with the Kamado Joe Classic Joe® series and Kamado Joe Konnected Joe™, making it ideal for creating indirect heat zones on compatible grills.

Made from high-quality ceramic, these deflector plates retain heat effectively while distributing it evenly, shielding foods from direct flame and preventing flare-ups. By creating a barrier between the coals and the cooking surface, the deflector plates allow you to roast, smoke, or bake without burning or drying out your food. These plates are ideal for larger cuts of meat, delicate fish, or vegetables that need gentle, consistent heat.

The half-moon design gives you flexibility with multi-zone cooking setups, allowing you to set up one side of the grill for indirect heat while leaving the other side open for direct, high-temperature searing. When used with the Divide & Conquer® Flexible Cooking System, these deflectors make it easy to switch between cooking styles and create custom grilling zones to suit any recipe.

How long will it take to receive my order?

All orders are processed within 1 business day. If an item is in stock it usually ships within 1-3 days from the date of your order. From there, it usually takes 3-7 business days of transit time for a shipment to deliver. Delivery times can vary depending on the delivery address.

What is Elite Patio Direct's return policy?

Returns are accepted for 30 days after delivery. We do not charge restocking fees, however the cost of all outbound and return shipping will be deducted from the refund. See our complete return policy here.

Shipping Information

All orders over $199 qualify for free curbside shipping to the contiguous United States. Contact us for a quote to ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

We ship smaller items via parcel (USPS, UPS, or FedEx). Larger and heavier items are shipped via LTL freight.

Shipping Transit Times:

Most items take 3-5 business days to deliver after they have left the warehouse. With that said, we do not have control over your shipment after it leaves the warehouse and shipping transit times are not guaranteed.

We strongly advise you not to schedule contractors until your order is fully delivered and all items inspected.

Freight Shipping:

If your item is too big and/or too heavy to fight in a normal postal carrier vehicle, your product will be shipped via a freight carrier. Learn more about how LTL freight deliveries work here.

Returns & Refunds

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused products that are still in original manufacturer packaging. We will refund your order less the cost of outbound and return shipping.

Inspecting Your Delivery & Damaged Items

It is your responsibility to inspect products that are delivered to you to determine if your items have were damaged during transit.

You MUST notify us via email of damage or defects within 5 business days of accepting delivery.  There are NO EXCEPTIONS.

If damage is reported after 5 business days, we will not offer any refunds, free replacement parts, discounts, or exchanges under any circumstances.

After 5 business days, we are outside of our time window to file claims with the freight carrier or manufacturer. At that time, we can only sell you replacement parts for repair. 

Cancelling an Order

You may cancel your order free of charge if we have not paid for shipping at the time we receive your email message. If we have already paid for shipping when we receive your request, we cannot cancel your order and you must proceed under the return policy.
